The Star Wars Canon

Since 1977, the Star Wars canon has expanded at an enormous rate. Even what fans consider to be the 'official' canon is huge, being augmented by many different contributors. In light of this, it's little wonder that there are a few inconsistencies - and a few things that just, well, suck. Therefore here is the unofficial and unauthoritative yet somehow very grand list of canonical elements that are really best ignored. At present it's very short, but if there's anything you'd like to see on the list, then tell me about it.

• Midichlorians (The Phantom Menace)
• R2 units being able to fly (Attack of the Clones)
• Palpatine wasn't really evil, just being manipulated by his advisors (Prologue, Star Wars novel)
